Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam. Its importance is highlighted in the fact that Allah bestowed the five daily prayers on the Prophet (pbuh) Himself in the famous trip of al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj (The Night Journey & Ascension). Many Muslims and non-Muslims alike are under the false notion that the prayers are limited to five in number. This book seeks to revive the spirit of those prayers that have been neglected if not abandoned by the Muslim community at large. I pray that this book inspires its reader to develop a stronger connection with their Lord through prayer. The Prophet (pbuh) said, The closest that a person can be to his Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, is when he is prostrating, so increase in supplication then. {Sunan an-Nasa’i}
